My Love

So the other day my girl and I decided to do a photo shoot so that we could put a recent picture on Daddy's Valentine's day card. Well, one might think this would be a simple task. Not so much with energetic two year old! Haha. We had fun though and that's what matters when it comes down to it. Let me tell you though, H would way rather be behind the camera (or CAMMA) rather than in front. Kind of like her mommy :) Every time I go to shoot she is right there with me bringing out her camma and helping me set up all the props. She makes one hell of an assistant.

Friends and New Lights

This week we invited some of our friends over to come and play with my new lights. The girls posed for a couple mintues -- and then they were done and wanted to play :) At least we got a couple of shots!! Halle's shot is a Valentine's present for Daddy, so that will be revealed after Feb 14th.

Today is my MIL's 60th birthday so Shawn, myself and our uncle decorated the house with small animals, lol. Check it out...

Then we went to visit H's BFF. One minute they are hugging each other the next the are fighting over a doll. True BFFs, lol.

Party Time

Today my daughter and I went to a birthday party for a very special 4 year old princess. It was a wonderful afternoon!

H even had her makeup done! It was really too cute. She enjoyed the "lippy" part the most.

And my absolute favorite pic from today... My girl laughing out of control at Papa.

Kelle Hampton - Spreading the love

If you are on my Facebook, you will know how inspired I am by this woman, Kelle Hampton. I started reading her blog when my sister sent me her link shortly after her second baby was born. Kelle writes about life as a mom with 2 girls, one with DS. She has such a positive outlook on life and if you don't read her blog - you should. Through reading her blog I feel like I have become a better mom. Her blog so so much more then words on a screen.
